Matthes, Richard

I am the Tech TOSA, which means I help both students and teachers with iPads and technology in general. Prior to this, I taught both chemistry and engineering here at Harding.  

 

I grew up in Duluth, and then moved down here to do my undergraduate work at the University of St. Thomas.  Following a year spent teaching in South Korea, I moved to Chicago and earned my MA from the University of Chicago.  

 

After a few years in the private sector working for Thomson Reuters, I joined the St. Paul Teaching Fellows and began working at Humboldt in 2008.  I moved to Harding in 2009 and have taught here ever since.
