Hansen, Elizabeth
I have the privilege of teaching both English classes and the IB Career Programme's Personal and Professional Skills course. I believe that reading and writing are more than just practical skills. I believe that reading and writing can actually transform the way we think and interact with the world around us. I love to find new and creative ways to bring literary and non-literary text to my courses and integrate technology in fun and useful ways.
I graduated from Metropolitan State University with a degree in English and attended Hamline University for graduate work in Reading Instruction.
For fun, I attend as many live music events as I can, enjoy plays and musicals, listen to true crime podcasts, and try to get outdoors whenever the weather permits.
Courses I teach:
Advisory - IB Career Programme Advisory (grades 11-12)
IB/DP Language and Literature, year 2
English 10 - Co-taught with Ms. Maily Vang
