Leadership Change at Harding High School

Dear Harding High School Community,

I am writing to let you know that Principal Tony Chlebecek is taking a different position within Saint Paul Public Schools at the end of this school year. Principal Chlebecek will be your school’s principal for the remainder of the 2024-25 school year, and we will soon begin a search for Harding’s new principal for 2025-26. I am grateful for Principal Chlebecek’s leadership at Harding the last two school years.

As we move forward, SPPS is committed to finding an excellent leader for this community. As we search for the next principal of Harding High School, we want to ensure you are informed and involved. 

We expect to post this position this week. Qualified candidates will be invited to a school-level interview. School administration will work with the school community to select a group that will include two Harding parents, two Harding staff members, a Harding student, myself and a member of our Human Resources staff.
