Harding Earth Club Member Moses Mbua Travels to Washington, D.C. with Save the Boundary Waters
Harding student and Earth Club member Moses Mbua recently traveled to Washington, D.C. with Save the Boundary Waters to advocate for the protection of the BWCA. Mbua was originally exposed the boundary waters through that partnership and was deeply impacted.
Moses spoke with representatives from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, the U.S. Forest Service, and the Bureau of Indian affairs to suggest practical conservation strategies. He also met with several U.S. House Representatives, including Minnesota Rep. Betty McCollum, to gather support for legislating protective measures for the BWCA.
