I need more challenging classes

Great!  Here at Harding High School we encourage you to challenge yourself.  If you are college bound, understand that colleges want students that are challenging themselves. In fact, taking challenging classes is the MOST important single factor that colleges consider for admission.  We have an amazing variety of class levels, so we should be able to help find a class that works well.  

Here are steps you should take:

1. Tell your teacher how you feel and ask what they recommend.
2. Schedule an appointment with your counselor.
3. Communicate  with your teacher and counselor as to how well you are doing. Moving into a more challenging class may be difficult, so it is important to keep communicating with them.
