Speech Team

Speech Team (this is not debate) has 13 different categories you could compete in--such as Drama, Humor, Prose, Poetry, Informative Speaking and Storytelling.  There are 9 invitational meets from the end of January - April, all of them are on Saturday.  We also go to a national qualifier for a chance to go to Nationals in June.

Last year we went to two national competitions.  NTOC we made it to semi finals in Program Oral Interp and we made Quarter Finals in Program Oral Interp and Duo.

At the National Speech and Debate tournament we made Quarter Finals in Program Oral Interp.  We also had two people go the State Speech Meet last year.  

This is open for anyone to join and it looks good on a college application.
