What is my commitment?

Students signing up for Acclerated classes in 9th and 10th grade make a commitment to be in those classes for the entire school year. Students signing up for any IB DP HL (Higher Level) course—for example: Literature, History, Chemistry, and Physics IB (and many other classes)—in 11th grade make a 2-year commitment to be in those classes for both 11th and 12th grades. Students are expected to take IB DP exams at the conclusion of their IB classes. If a student wishes to change or drop any IB DP or Accelerated course, it must be approved by a guardian, the IB DP teacher, the student’s counselor and the IB DP coordinator.
