Mathematics

Curriculum standards for high school mathematics convey a set of mathematical learning expectations for all students. That is, they describe the mathematics that should be the focus of instruction and the goals for student learning. The Mathematics department at Harding offers a wide variety of math courses, from Intermediate Algebra through Calculus IB. All of the teachers in the department attempt to meet the needs and interests of all students and encourage each student to go as far in mathematics as his or her ability permits.
