Why Academies? One of the most important elements of the Academy concept is the ability to create a sense of belonging. Teachers and students build a supportive relationship, which promotes a positive and safe learning environment. Relationships are developed in during an advisory period, as well as in classes taught by the Academy teachers. Harding's staff and families share common goals for high school students. We want the high school experience to be academically challenging, relevant in instruction, and to ultimately prepare students to be productive citizens able to compete in a global society.
