Greetings!

My name is Erika Huss and I'm the grade 9 counselor.  This is my first year at Harding and I'm very excited to  be working with the grade 9 students and families.  I can help students with academic, personal, social and career questions and concerns.  If you have any problems or concerns, please make an appointment to see me. I'm looking forward to a successful school year. 




Background Information

I was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI but I've called Minnesota home since 1998.  Before moving to Minnesota, I worked as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Biratnagar, Nepal.  After returning from Nepal, I worked as an Americorps Volunteer with Admission Possible at Patrick Henry High School while earning my counseling degree.  I spent the last 2 years in Cairo, Egypt working as a School Counselor at the American International School of Cairo. 

I have experience working with teenagers recovering from chemical abuse, adults that are developmentally delayed and international community development.  However, working with the young adults at Harding is a dream job!
