Over the last few years a great deal of time and energy has been spent on recording our elders and documenting our language. Consequently, this means a wealth of information on the world wide web. We have brought some of that technology into the classroom. This fall each student made a 10 page powerpoint of common Ojibwe phrases. Our hope is to see them published and shared with other Ojibwe learning audiences to increase our community of speakers. In addition to using technology, we are mostly using the Ojibwemowin series, Rick Grescyzk phrase books and Talking Gookom's Language.
