| I've been teaching mathematics in St. Paul Public Schools for over 20 years. I've worked at Cleveland Junior High, Central High School, Open School, and now Harding High School. I'm also an adjunct professor in the Graduate Teaching License program at the College of Saint Scholastica in St. Paul. I teach math because I know how important it is to be able to use mathematical thinking and logic as a life skill. People that have not learned to use mathematics are at a distinct disadvantage in finding a job, dealing with contracts, understanding money management, and are often the victims of those who take advantage of people who lack critical thinking skills.
