Familia provides culturally competent mental health social services
in order to enhance the quality of life for Chicano/Latino students and
families. There are bilingual and bicultural staff who provide the
following services:

- Parenting Assessments
- Consultation
- Home-based services
- Information, Referral, and Advocacy

Provides free medical services for some people without insurance.
If you qualify, you will need:
- A photo ID
- a social security card or your immigration status
- a statement of support from the family you live with if you do not live at home
Chemical Assessments
If you are concerned about your student's drug and alcohol use, consider a chemical assessment.

Baby Talks
A group for pregnant and/or parenting teens. The group meets for 9 week sessions at
the Neighborhood House (located behind El Burrito Mercado) on Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:30.
Hmong and Spanish interpreters can be provided. Talk to your counselor for more details.
