AVID
Harding's AVID Program started with 85 Ninth grade students in 2005. AVID is a college prepatory program. AVID students focus on writing, inquiry, collaborative learning and reading.
Avid students will :
succeed in a rigorous curriculum
complete a rigorous college preparatory path
enter mainstream activities of the school
increase their enrollment in four-year colleges
become educated, responsible, participants, and leaders in a democratic society

We are seeking AVID applications from students entering Ninth Grade for the 2006-07 school year.
Current AVID students have the opportunity to stay in AVID throughout their high school years.
